Transforming a Passion Project into a Scalable Premium DTC Brand

Loops by LJ is a handmade rug brand that blends artistic craftsmanship with functional design. When we partnered, they were doing ₹2–3 Lakhs/month in sales through manual DMs. Today, they’re a ₹20 Lakhs/month brand with 50% of orders automated through a high-converting Shopify store.

The Challenges

When we began, Loops by LJ was a passion-led business doing everything manually — from discovery to closing a sale through Instagram DMs. But the real challenges were:

1. Shopify Store Design & Funnel Setup

Result: Over 50% of orders now happen through the website

2. Meta & Google Ads Strategy

We moved from Insta DM targeting to a 3-tier funnel:

Creatives - Product showcase, UGC & Influencer reels, Carousel & Catalogue ads

We collaborated with influencers like Ridhi Khosla for premium UGC that aligned with the brand’s high-AOV positioning.

On Google we also launched brand campaigns along with PMax & Shopping Ads since this brand was investing in PR & Exhibitions and we noticed searches with brand name’s keyword.
